FAREWELL, CLAUDINE AUGER...

You were a thunderballin' Bond Girl of the highest caliber, Ms. Auger: sexy and seductive as 007's dear and dynamic Domino.

However, your power to attract flowed beyond the Bond classic, enlivening such movies as "Escalation"; "Triple Cross"; "The Cats"; "The Devil in Love"; "The Bermuda Triangle"; "Le Masque de Fer" (aka, "The Man in the Iron Mask '62"); "Testament of Orpheus"; and the Mario Bava forerunner to "Friday the 13th": "Twitch of the Death Nerve" (aka "Carnage"/"Bay of Blood").

I can't tell you how many times I contemplated your provocative guise, though I'm certain I wasn't the only guy.

You were an inimitable beauty, whose charms will continue to mesmerize here on earth and of course, in all those wondrous realms where goddesses reign supreme.
