DICK TRACY 1990, HOSTED BY THE HOUSELS

Michael & Donna Housel will host director/star Warren Beatty's 1990 adaptation of Dick Tracy at the Home Base Cinema, 1300 Franklin St, Trenton, NJ, on June 15 (Monday), at 6:30 pm at its outdoor, canopy-capped theater.

Beatty's movie, which was written by Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr., and released by Buena Vista/Disney, was a big deal back in the day with its all-star cast, colorful sets, elaborate makeups and virile action.

Collectibles released for the movie will be displayed for one's historic insight and enjoyment. In addition, Michael will give a rundown on Tracy's history and legacy, which includes a fond look at his creator, Chester Gould. 

Snacks will be served during the movie, and for those who attend, a DVD of Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome, with Ralph Byrd and Boris Karloff, will be given to one and all!

One of your best roles came via classic "Star Trek" in Adrian Spies' "Miri", where you redefined the delinquent concept, but you took your quirky edge to even greater heights with a recurring role as Mr. Mxyzptlk on the fan favorite, "Superboy". 

You were a special, one-of-a-kind guy, Mr. Pollard, who brought enormous joy to whatever role you played. Your legacy will endure and strengthen, your presence carved-in-stone forever and always.
