An Alternate Reality/Collectible Time: Mirror Mirror Scotty & McCoy/Strange New Worlds Enterprise

Jerome Bixby's "Mirror, Mirror" (directed by Marc Daniels) is one of classic Star Trek's most popular episodes, and one of the most noted alternate-reality tales every constructed.

Hallmark has dispatched a set of the Enterprise's crew through Bixby's parallel-universe lens, and for 2022, two more 4.4" entries emerge (the final releases for this prestigious, "Storytellers" line).

For the new set, we're offered Montgomery Scott and Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, the former already available for purchase, with the latter set for an October release.

As with the "Mirror, Mirror" figures that came before them, Scotty and Bones are (per their stylish bases) sound/light-activated. When connected to Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu and Chekov, they even perform a dialogue exchange. The detail on each piece is quite impressive, with all the "bad-guy" nuances intact.

Also due for October is a light-up (7" in length) Enterprise, commemorating Captain Christopher Pike's command, as chronicled on the prequel series, Strange New Worlds

The ship is accurate in its sleek detail and goes nicely with Hallmark's long line of Trek, ornament crafts.

Check out these fabulous pieces online or at your local Hallmark store. (Even those pieces not yet available for purchase can be viewed on display, if only to instill a nice, eager-to-buy vibe.)
