July closes with a New Pulp bang, as Airship 27's latest podcast takes literary flight!
Our gracious hosts, Ron Fortier and Rob Davis, bestow well deserved emphasis on Barbara Doran's exotic Wu Dang, Vol 3: Return of the Wanderer, which features enchanting illustrations by Gary Kato. (Doran's saga continues to mount in popularity; the conclusion of her trilogy will no doubt catapult it all the higher.)
Also on the discussion plate is Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective, Vol #17, which includes stories by I.A. Watson, R.A. Jones, George Tackes and Jonathan Casey, with atmospheric images by Rob. (The Holmes series has been a financial blast for Airship 27, and this latest volume will no doubt be another shining link in the successful chain.)
And wait--there's more! Ron and Rob give us a verbal sneak peek of Teel James Glenn's eagerly awaited, in-progress Dragonthroat. (For the sake of this post, I've inserted one of Chris Nye's dynamic pics for the sword-and-sorcery epic. Neato!)
