(DARK FICTION #6) TERRORVISION: STORIES INSPIRED BY CULT HORROR AND SCI-FI FILMSF

Eighth Tower Publishing's intuitive Raffaele Pezzella presents the newest in his Dark Fiction series, TerrorVision: Stories Inspired by Cult Horror and Sci-Fi FilmSF.

For this sixth volume, the contents ooze from Chris McAuley, Sarah Walker, Glynn Owen Barrass, J. Edwin Buja, John D. Chadwick, Andrew Coulthard, Claudia Christian, Mawr Gorshin, Tim Mendees, Nora B. Peevy, Russell Sineaton and yours truly, Michael F. Housel, with a hearty foreword by Mr. McAuley, as well as one by Ms. Walker (abetted by her overall, spiffy editing of the volume), and an evocative cover by RhaD.

The scenarios bounce from the visionary works of Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Sam Raimi, H.P. Lovecraft, Ridley Scott, Lucio Fulci, Clive Barker and David Cronenberg.

My tongue-in-cheek contribution is called "Evil, Little Demon" and is cut from the Raimi cloth, seasoned with (surprise, surprise) ample Lovecraft and topped by a generous dusting of Barker.

This eclectic, Pezzella curation is certain to tingle the spine with frightful delight.
