You brought wholesome joy to eager audiences, first making your mark as a regular on Sing Along With Mitch, then as a renown troubadour in Japan, followed by a legendary stretch on Sesame Street. 

With that said, your vibrant personality and smooth tenor-izations consistently warmed hearts, in addition to your many mirthful exchanges with Jim Henson's Muppets. 

Along with your television and stage triumphs, your books, Uh Oh! Gotta Go! and OOPS Excuse Me Please!, have delighted many, as has your sprightly, kiddie albums, which include Sing Me A Story and Bob! Christmas Sing Along (veritable classics). 

Thanks for the sweet memories, Mr. McGrath, the utter happiness, confidence and care you sprinkled upon us. Your spirit will remain in a sacred part of our hearts, and your legacy will continue to define the best part of who we are and hope to be.
