FAREWELL, MYLENE DEMONGEOT...

You were an incomparable beauty with your golden hair, long legs and engaging smile. You were also an actress of the highest and most eclectic caliber.

The evidence of both can be found in such productions as OSS 117: Mission for a Killer; A Kiss for a Killer; The Giant of Marathon; Romulus and the Sabines; Gold for the CaesarsThe Three Musketeers '61; The Crucible '57; The Private Navy of Sgt O'Farrell; Under Ten Flags; Doctor in Distress; Three Murderesses; Be Beautiful But Shut Up; It's a Wonderful World '56; Time Bomb; The Singer Not the Song; The Big Night '59; That Night...; Upstairs and Downstairs; and When Love Comes

To accompany these impressive titles, you also played the splendid Helene Gurn in the exotic, Fantomas Trilogy (Fantomas, Fantomas Unleashed and Fantomas vs Scotland Yard) where you and "the man of many disguises" kept us awash in pulp-ish intrigue.

Your angelic ways will translate well in Heaven, Ms. Demongeot, while those of us on humble Earth will yet relish and revere you as one of cinema's preeminent charmers.
