Main Enterprises plans to publish a new science-fiction/fantasy literary source. It's called Apogee and will include my story, "Fear the Widow".
"Fear the Widow" is a revamp of a yarn I spotlighted decades ago in Magical, Literary Elixirs as "The Tormented". I also dramatized "The Tormented" for the audio magazine, Tales From the Grave.
"Fear the Widow" is tighter, sleeker and more menacing than its original incarnation, but like the first, it has a Night Gallery/Tales From the Darkside vibe. As one might suspect, it features an arachnid, a supernatural one at that.
Jim Main has a ton on his plate, but as soon as Apogee hits print, Bizarrechats will be ballyhooing it.
