FROM SNAKE TO SERPENT: A COPYRIGHT ENTANGLEMENT FOR DARK FICTION #5

Ah, alas, it appears that due to copyright entanglements, Dark Fiction #5 will be but an impression of the John Carpenter tribute it was meant to be. In other words, there are too many hands in the licensing pot to let matters stand as intended.

So, what does that mean for my Snake Plissken/vampire story? Well, the structure will stay the same, but significant variables have been changed. Folks will now be served an adventure featuring a guy named Serpent Paulsen. Yeah, ain't that a kicker? But hey, isn't this the way Doc Atlas sprung from Doc Savage?

Anyway, Eighth Tower Publishing's online magazine still offers a glimpse of what was to be. (For whatever cause, the copyright scheme doesn't impede that specialized source.) Anyway, I encourage my readers to take a look. In the meantime, I'm hoping that publisher Raffaele Pezzella will ultimately publish the rest of my genuine story, if not in segments, then in one fell swoop.
