You were a virile force behind Here Come the Brides and the underwater adventure, Primus.
The Flame Barrier and Tower of London '62 also benefited from your artful skill, as did Perry Mason (on more than a few occasions), Columbo, Mannix, The Silent Service, 12 O'Clock High, Bonanza, Wagon Train, The Lawless Years, All in the Family and Bewitched.
To Trekkies, however, it's as Lazarus A & B, in the classic Star Trek episode, "The Alternative Factor", that you'll be most celebrated, having created an empathetic portrayal of two sides of a man, clashing and doomed.
You were consistently the unremitting epitome of dignity, Mr. Brown, a faithful, first-class act who made the silver age of film shine ever brighter. Thank you for illuminating our lives.
