FAREWELL, CONRAD JANIS...

You had a fruitful film career, with appearances in Let's Rock; The Buddy Holly Story; Beyond GloryAirport 1975; Maneater; The Brasher Doubloon; The Feminine TouchThe Happy Hooker; Oh, God! Book II; Sonny Boy; The Cable Guy, SnafuBrewster's Millions '85; Nothing in CommonMr. Saturday Night; and The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox.

It was on television, however, that you really excelled, with blue-chip parts on Cannon; Banacek; Get Smart; Happy Days; Maude; The Golden GirlsFrasier; and My Favorite Martian.

Speaking of the latter, your most famous roles were arguably in sci-fi comedy, as Otto Bob Palindrome on Quark and of course, as Fred McConnell on Mork & Mindy.
