SUPERBABES #16: DESPERATELY SEEKING FEMFORCE

AC's all-color Superbabes #16 presents more Jungle Island action, spearheaded by the dimensional-tumbling Black Phantom in a chapter called "Desperately Seeking Femforce."   

After the gals anticipate the sexy Phantom's entrance into the Femforce fold, She-Cat and Synn face an attacking automaton, as Tara lifts an elephant and Ms. Victory and Paragon (in a special chapter of their own) enjoy a little romance. FEMFORCE #198: NIGHTVEIL V BLUE BULLETEER

AC's Femforce #198 presents an all-color, dynamic-duo challenge in "...Nightveil No More?", with the sexy sorceress and the Blue Bulleteer going at it under Cloak of Darkness duress on Planet Dhagor, as a colossal feline scratches away at our frantic She-Cat. 

At least Synn swings in to quell the psychedelic contention. Stardust, Kamalfa, Tara, Black Commando, Azagoth, Paragon, Ms. Victory, Laura Wright, Alizarin Crimson, Fenton Farb and Sinapore Sal (the sauciest pirate on sea or land) are also on hand, ensuring #198 matches (if not surpasses) the very best that Femforce has thus far summoned. 

Ah, but that ain't all. To elevate #198 to even greater glory, there's "Generally Speaking with Richard Gordon", featuring Nightveil, Ms. Victory, She-Cat, Blonde Bomber and the mysterious Michelle Baum in an agile, airwaves adventure.

FEMFORCE #195: GIANTESS V GIANTESS

 

AC's all-color Femforce #195 lands a walloping punch of the giantess kind, with the mega spotlight falling upon the Garganta-inspired Stella Stargaze and the towering Tara Fremont, who end up in a powerhouse confrontation that Femforce fans won't soon forget (and this is just the first part of their titanic clash). 

Bill Black's story and Art Coile's imagery tie it all together to majestic perfection, as Ms. Victory, She-Cat, Synn, Nightveil, Stardust and Paragon guest star. 

Readers are also treated to a She-Cat supplement called "Driving Miss Crazy", wherein our heroine must race to the finish line to get her licence renewed, though not before facing a Nightveil-tied obstacle. The frantic spree features pleasing artwork by Mark & Stephanie Heike, sprung from a clever script by Mark and abetted by Bobby Ragland's vibrant layout.

Femforce #195 is a blast from beginning to end and acts as exciting warm-up for the inevitable #196.

SUPERBABES #4: A COLORFUL CONTINUATION

AC's Femforce returns to fight the good fight in the feverishly anticipated, all-color spinoff, Superbabes #4. 

In Mark and Stephanie Heike's "Point Me at the Sky" (with artwork by Mark, colors by Stephanie and inks by Bill Black), Nightveil and She-Cat appear to have Gorgana and Wampyr cornered, just as Ms. Victory and Tara are assaulted by the sucker-punching Valkyra and Proxima. Synn, meanwhile, goes on a major munchies binge, giving the conflict some levity, but will her indulgence prove a misstep to the Femforce cause?  

In #4's Stardust companion piece (written by Andrew Hawnt, with artwork by the Heikes, Dave Matsuoka, Jeff Austin and Josh Rodriguez), our heroine encounters an angry, armored giant named T'Larn, who she's inadvertently released from an ancient spacecraft. Against the odds, Stardust decides to persuade the perplexed behemoth to evade destruction, but not before the two engage in an unsparing duel.

SUPERBABES #3: THREE TIMES THE PUNCH WITH GROOVY SYNN AND STARDUST!!!

AC Comics gives us another blazin', full-color issue of Femforce's Superbabes, and #3 is a psychedelic splash from the past, front to back.

Synn and Stardust are the focal points this time out, with one battling the "grateful" Uncle Jon Band and the other a destructive, giant robot. Mark and Stephanie Heike supply the story and artwork for Synn's tale; and for Stardust's, Chris Irving dishes the plot, while Mark Heike, Jeff Austin, Sylvan Varreau and Gary Carlson supply the visuals.

Without question, one will come away from Superbabes #3 feeling mighty high, especially knowing that justice has prevailed!!

FEMFORCE #186: SUPER, SENSATIONAL SPREES!!!

AC's Femforce #186 has landed...or should I say, taken flight? After all, this one sure does soar. 

The latest issue explodes with uplifting stories, covering varying but equally exciting timelines and scenarios, with our fetching favorites in steamy action: Yankee Girl, She-Cat, Synn, Stardust, Nightveil...Ms. Victory, joined by the amazing Etherium Knights and Bill Black's stupendous Sentinels of Justice. 

For the sake of the magnificent Yankee Girl, my ultra-talented pal, Mark Holmes tells a tale called "Make a Splash", with super-sultry artwork by Dan Gorman, Jeff Austin and Mark Heike. This time our cheerful champion seeks a stolen, swimsuit-show necklace. You can bet your bottom dollar that Yankee Girl will do everything in her power to retrieve it from the thieves, while delighting readers with her comely traits...

As a spirited companion piece, Holmes gives us a big "Bang for Your Buck", starring Ms. Victory (in one of three adventures to grace this issue) with fantastic imagery by Paolo Bodini and Mark Heike. The Southeast Asia, missile-based thrills are destined to blast one's libido into orbit, as the statuesque goddess springs forth to right a dangerous wrong. If this one doesn't keep one at the edge of one's seat, what will?

To further the Ms. Victory commemoration, Roy Richardson and Mark Heike pit our heroine against terrorists during the sizzling '80s. Heike's excellent artwork captures the tense essence of the time, matched by a fierce sexiness that'll leave one clamoring for more...

Last but not least, Ms. Victory (or perhaps she should be called Miss in this instance?) appears in a racy exploit entitled "A Romp in the Black Forest", scripted and penciled by Gianluca Cerritelli and Mark Heike. For this entry, we get ample, aerial thrills and WWII, Nazi-bashing battles. The patriotic zeal runs high, just as it should, enough to prompt any reader stand up and salute...

Nightveil also occupies a significant portion of #186, represented by a breathtaking Mark and Stephanie Heike cover. The blazing Bill Black offerings will please and provoke with their wild and weird scenarios, fueled by Johannes Vick's incredible illustrations.

FEMFORCE #185: FANTASTIC FUN FROM THE WORLD'S MIGHTIEST WOMEN!!!

Thanks to AC's Femforce #185, Miss/Ms Victory is back, facing plenty of size-shifting, old-time vim in "Battle of the Micro Men". Bill Black's throwback concept and masterful layout are wonders to behold in this reprinted tale, enhanced by David Jacob Beckett's quality pencils and inks. (Mark and Stephanie Heike's colorful cover is also a real Victory treat!!! What an explosive blastoff!!! Wow!!!)

Of course, Ms. Victory isn't the only curvaceous crusader on board. My good buddy, Mark Holmes re-enters the fetching Femforce scene with a terrific Tara Fremont tale, which includes crisp dialogue by the Heikes and sensuous artwork by new-kid-on-the-block Samrat Das, enlivened by Jeff Austin's stylish inks. 

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Holmes' powerhouse plot results in the sexiest, jungle-girl, serpent-attacks adventure to come along in years. Holmes gives the clever scenario great gusto, making it a delight for both fans of gorgeous gals and colossal beasts: a major win-win on both far-out fronts. 

In addition, #185 offers other sensational sweeties, including Nightveil, She-Cat, Stardust, Stormy Tempest and Synn, each in stupendous, no-holds-barred escapades supplied by AC's acclaimed, artistic contributors.

TANTALIZING ACTION AWAITS IN FEMFORCE #177!!!

FEMFORCE #177 is here, with sultry action and imaginative hijinks to set one's soul a-soarin'!!! And our fantastic ladies of action are back on board: the Atomic Blonde; Dinosaur Girl; Firebeam; Kamalfa; Ms. Victory; Nightveil; Rei; She-Cat; Stardust; Stormy Tempest; Roberta Strock; Synn...Tara!!! Oh, boy!!!

My talented friends, Rock Baker and Mark Holmes, again act as significant contributors to the Mark and Stephanie Heike/AC Comics series. 

Baker supplies the lay-out for Mark Heike's "translucent" tale, "Girl on Fire", in addition to co-penciling the imagery with Heike; Baker also gives us another colossal, heart-pounding Dinosaur Girl yarn, entitled "Legacy", where the cute curves go as high as the sky. 

Holmes gives us the electrifying storyline for the far-out "White Out", with spellbinding artwork by Scott Shriver; Holmes also grants us the swell, cosmic concept for "Thrilling Science", with interstellar artwork by David Matsuoka, and believe me, no space odyssey has ever been quite so fetching. 

I may be biased, but I gotta say, I adore Baker and Holmes' imaginative flair. They have similar, moral mindsets and a definite inclination regarding what's appealing and fun. Above all, their get-the-job-done, storytelling skills stir the right, all-American fervor: a throwback style to the way comics were once told, with an unapologetic slant favoring right over wrong, plus lots of high-flying adventure. (I guess, in that regard, the Heikes deserve top credit, not only for enlisting Baker and Holmes, but for producing reasonably priced issues that are consistently jammed with provocative gems. Most importantly, with AC Comics you never need worry about a Femforce agent jumping ship to join Hydra!!! Hallelujah for that!!!)

The rest of #177's contributors make an equally impressive lot, delivering the tantalizing thrills each in his own distinct way. Indeed, Jeff Austin; Jacob Bear; Marco Della Verde; Daniel P. Gorman; Andrew Haunt; David Matsuoka; Joseph A. Michael; Francesco Savi; and Scott Shriver deserve a round of hardy applause for their efforts: a most creative group of guys if ever there was one. 

To boot, let's not overlook that powerful, Bear cover: a fine tribute to Firebeam's blazing beauty and a perfect fit for this stupendous issue on the whole!!! Oh, and then there's that wild back cover: a colorful, monsterized, Atomic Blonde representation by Gorman that's sure to make one's eyes pop!!!
