SOAR HIGH, JOANNA PETTET

You were a haunting beauty whose every move mesmerized.

Your roles on Rod Serling's Night Gallery, in "The Caterpillar" "The House," "Keep in Touch - We'll Think of Something" and "The Girl with the Hungry Eyes," have lingered with me for years and will never fade. I don't want them to; they're too potent and stimulating to discard.

But I suppose the same can be said of your other roles, including such extended examples as Casino Royale (1967), where you became a veritable, Bond girl; The Night of the Generals; The Evil; Terror in Paradise; Pioneer WomanRobbery; Double Exposure; The Best House in London; Welcome to Arrow Beach; Sweet Country; Captains and the Kings; Black Commando; The Weekend Nun; Footsteps; The Delphi Bureau; Miss Stewart, Sir; The Dark Side of Innocence; A Cry in the Wilderness; Sex and the Married Woman; Heaven Only Knows; The Group; and The Return of Frank Cannon.

In addition to Night Gallery, your episodic appearances were quite plentiful and include the 1970s Thriller; Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected; Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected; The Fugitive; Harry O; Mannix; McCloud; Banacek; Caribe; Police Story; Police Woman; The Trials of O'Brien; The Little Hobo; Fantasy IslandCharlie's Angels; The Love BoatA Man Called Shenandoah; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; Knott's Landing; HotelAloha Paradise; Route 66; The Doctors; The Nurses; Dr. Kildare; Medical Center; Knight Rider; The Fall Guy; and Murder, She Wrote

You'll always be a beacon of warmth, Ms. Pettet, and a lasting favorite among your throng of fans. Soar high now in Heaven, where you'll eclipse each and every ethereal summit ... a seraph preordained to rival all angels.👼
