The initial crop of Hallmark's 2026 Keepsake ornaments has landed. Among the queue are famous monsters: the Creature from the Black Lagoon & Halloween's Michael Myers.
The Gill-man is depicted in mid-ascension, a bust-plus, if one will. The piece measures 4.5" x 3.5" x 5.25", with a clever, water-simulated base. I don't know who sculpted this beauty, but a ton of credit is in order. The ornament's detail (from front to back) is Universally Amazon-ic!
For Michael Myers, aka the Shape, we get the ideal, icy demeanor, as if culled straight from John Carpenter's 1978 classic or rather, as the box labeling indicates, Rick Rosenthal's 1981 sequel.
Myers measures 2.5" x 5" x 1.25", with our dear, autumnal slasher grasping a convenient, kitchen knife. Again, we're granted no sculptor, but whoever rendered this macabre wonder sure did an on-target job.
This is quite a set for fans, with each piece ready to hang from one's tree or (as many will no doubt prefer) on one's horror-themed shelves.
The Gill-man will be released in October, but is available for preorder, with Myers in stock for Hallmark's July premiere. Both ornaments can be purchased online (at the main Hallmark site) or at one's neighborhood, Hallmark Gold Crown store. Grab 'em while you can, before they grab you!
