When it comes to Hallmark's Keepsake, novelty ornaments, Star Trek was the grand pioneer. The Trek ornaments have prevailed for decades, and 2026 is no exception. Here are a couple of impressive entries to add to that long line, each honoring Leonard Nimoy's Mr. Spock.
The battery-operated Galileo measures 3.25" x 1.75" x 5" and captures the streamline majesty of the legendary shuttlecraft. The ornament is, in fact, a reissue of the popular, 1992 release, which features Nimoy/Spock's "Happy Holidays/Live Long and Prosper" salutation. The new release includes the same message, though it follows an audio excerpt from the revered, "Galileo Seven" episode: yeah, a swell, audio extension for all those faithful, Yuletide Trekkies.
Even if one owns the 1992 release, this edition is ideal for diehard completists and captures the incomparable, stellar flavor of Gene Roddenberry's founding series.
To accentuate the Spock connection even further, Hallmark has produced a resplendent tribute to the AMT, 1968 model kit, "Space Serpent Attack!", with our favorite Vulcan set to phaser a humongous, three-headed snake as it springs from a crater.
This colorful ornament measures 5" x 3.5" x 2.75 and was sculpted by Tony Bishop, patterned after Wah Chang's iconic design.
My parents purchased the AMT, styrene kit for me when we visited Atlantic City back in the day, which makes this Hallmark representation extra-sentimental for me.
Without question, these are detailed gems that would look great on one's tree or on one's shelf.
The Galileo is available now, and the Spock-vs-Serpent piece can be pre-ordered in anticipation of its October release.
Be sure to purchase both ornaments online or at your neighborhood, Hallmark Gold Crown store.
