Rob Zombie's hailed sequel to House of 1000 Corpses (re)assaults theaters though Fathom Events on October 6 & 8.
Since its release twenty years ago, The Devil's Rejects has lost none of its offbeat intensity, possessing a deft, genre-geared cast that's become the stuff of macabre legend: Sig Haig, Bill Moseley, Ken Foree, William Forsythe, Tony Towles, Danny Trejo, E.G. Daily, Geoffrey Lewis, Michael Berryman, P.J. Soles, Matthew McGrory and of course, the super-sultry Sheri Moon Zombie.
The Devil's Rejects, unlike its predecessor, is an on-the-road romp, with its titular fiends terrorizing just about anyone who crosses their path, but when the crazy clan draws the wrath of a vengeful sheriff, the blood-splattered tables get turned.
The Devil's Rejects has been called one of the great, horror sequels, ranked right up there with James Whale's The Bride of Frankenstein and George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead. Like its prior chapter, portions were influenced by Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Jack Hill's Spider Baby, though writer/director Zombie gives the concoction his own spin, creating a raw and brutal journey like no other.
Engage The Devil's Rejects for the first time or take devilish delight in revisiting its sadistic saturation once more on the big screen. (Check local listings for times and theaters.)
