I got to know you best from your spouse, Bing Crosby, and his annual, Christmas specials, and from there, a number of enjoyable movies.
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad is your crowning jewel, of course. As Princess Parisa, you delighted and enchanted (whether you were in grown form or shrunken), and at a young, starry-eyed age, you became my all-time, favorite royalty.
In addition to Sinbad, you were comparably beguiling in Operation Mad Ball, The Night the World Exploded, The Guns of Fort Petticoat, Cell 2455 Death Row, 5 Against the House, The Initiation of Sarah, Arrowhead, Living It Up, Rear Window, Storm Center, The Phenix City Story, Forever Female, Mister Corey, Goldilocks, So This Is Love, Unchained, Tight Spot, My Sister Eileen, The Brothers Rico, Casanova's Big Night, Queen of the Lot, Great Performances, Reprisal!, Honey, The Wild Party, The Big Circus and the joyful, Mr. Magoo venture, 1001 Arabian Nights (voicing Princess Yasminda).
You were also a regular on The Big Crosby Show and hosted The Kathryn Crosby (Talk) Show: a most satisfying combination.
When all is said and done, your participation in film and television made you one of the most recognizable women around. Alas, your departure ends an era, Mrs. Crosby, but to those who care and cherish a simpler, happier time, you'll never fail to come to mind.
