Classic Monsters of the Movies Annual 2023 edition is a whopper of overflowing, horror homages, clocking in at a staggering, 82 frightful pages, with articles by Nige Burton, Jamie Jones, David Huckvale, Marcus Turner and Ethan Lee, adorned by a smashing, team-up cover by the on-the-ascent John Febonio.
For the 2023 submission, the contents cover such interesting topics as poverty-row horror; female fiends; Jason Voorhees; kaiju heroes and villains; an iconic-monsters essay; and a revealing interview with the aforementioned Mr. Febonio by the aforementioned Mr. Burton.
This deluxe, special edition's paper stock is slick and thick, with photographs that captivate and mesmerize. And of course, the writing (and inherent research) is what readers have come to expect from Classic Monsters: nothing short of edifying.
