I've shared posts on amedia360's magazine salutes for Superman (in April) and Iron Man (in early May). However, the publisher has another in circulation: Ant-Man and the Future of Marvel, which chronicles the wee and huge exploits of Hank Pym and Scott Lang, not to mention those of Janet and Hope Van Dyne.
In truth, Andy Mangels' text is a tie-in for the latest, big-screen Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, as well as its stars, Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly and Michelle Pfeiffer, while touching the previous, Multiverse chapters in which they star.
The author also treats us to the early years of Ant-Man's printed jaunts, which include Pym and Lang's sporadic Giant-Man phases, in addition to Howard Stern's attempt to secure the rights for a film version. Marvel's push to use Ant-Man and other Avengers on the big screen rode on the latter's heels, though as with any valued venture, time was required to get the right feel, and Mangels details the creative and business stages.
That deft effort makes Ant-Man and The Future of Marvel a prolific product, with sharp photos, a lovely layout and even a list of Marvel's movie chapters for readers' convenience, as well hints on what's yet to ascend.
Ant-Man and the Future of Marvel won't be on shelves for long, so grab a copy at your local bookshop, drugstore or supermarket before the chance shrinks from view.
