GOODBYE, LORI NELSON...

You were the Gill-man's second, leggy gal (and John Agar's main squeeze) in the spectacular sequel, "Revenge of the Creature", but that's not all.

Your tasty talents dominated in "Day the World Ended '55"; "The Naked Monster"; "Hot-Rod Girl"; "Untamed Youth"; "Underwater!"; "I Died a Thousand Times"; "Magnificent Obsession '54"; "All I Desire"; "The All American"; "Sincerely Yours"; "Walking My Baby Back Home"; "Ma and Pa Kettle at the Fair"; "Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki"; "Francis Goes to West Point"; "Pardners"; "Bend of the River"; "Mohawk"; "Outlaw's Son"; "Tumbleweed"; and "Destry" (the latter two with the legendary Audie Murphy); in addition to television's "How to Marry a Millionaire" and the Thanksgiving Day treat, "The Pied Piper of Hamelin".

And speaking of television, you made the steady rounds with such swell shows as "The Millionaire"; "Climax!"; "Wanted Dead or Alive"; "Wagon Train"; "Sugarfoot"; "Laramie"; "Tales of Wells Fargo"; "The Tab Hunter Show"; "Bachelor Father"; and more.

You were a charmer and dream come true, Ms. Nelson, bringing a spring to the step of any production in which you appeared. To those who knew you, you hold their highest respect; and to those yet to discover you, you'll surely come to warm their hearts, just as you've done with so many over the years.
