Collectible Time: Hallmark's David Tennant Doctor & Dalek 2022 Ornaments

As follow-ups to last year's 4th Doctor, Tom Baker, and TARDIS ornaments, Hallmark has released a 10th Doctor, David Tennant companion piece, accompanied by a Time War Dalek: the dark-armored Sec of the Cult of Sarko.

The Tennant, 4.4 " x 2.5" figure flaunts a determined pose, with his sonic screwdriver extended. His attire, from his lengthy coat to red sneakers, is distinct to this particular incarnation, as is his facial likeness, thanks to ultra-skillful sculptor, Christina Gaughram.

The Sec, Time War Dalek measures 4" x 3" and along with its formidable aura, elicits frightful vocals, "Exterminate!" and "Elevate!", while playing Ron Grainer's iconic Doctor Who theme.

Brilliant artist Nello Williams brought this one to life, and like the Tennant selection, the Sec Dalek is one to possess and cherish for years to come, whether one chooses to hang it from one's tree or display it on one's shelf.

Oh, and for those fortunate enough to shell out a few dollars more, there's a limited-edition, gold-variant, sound-effects Sec to extend one's commanding tendencies all the further.

One can purchase these spiffy pieces online or at one's nearby Hallmark shop. Grab 'em before they fade into the annals of time.

Collectible Time: Hallmark's Tom Baker Doctor & TARDIS Ornaments

Hallmark takes a grand, Whovian turn, with two Doctor Who Christmas ornaments for 2021.

One is a remarkable 5" representation of the Fourth Doctor (excluding Peter Cushing's parallel edition, of course), portrayed by the one and only Tom Baker.

Baker's Time Lord sports amazing color, in particular his trademark scarf. His fedora-tipping pose adds to the pleasurable panache, as does that inimitable, Baker grin.

Accompanying Mr. Baker is a quaint, 4.6" TARDIS, which not only lights up, but plays Ron Grainer's wondrous, Doctor Who theme!

The detail on this wee TARDIS is perfect-o, with just the right police-blue pigment and weather worn texture to make one want to jump aboard.

I wonder which Doctor incarnation might come next year: perhaps a sound-activated Dalek, Cyberman or K-9. Say, how 'bout a nifty sonic screwdriver, or a companion or two, like Elizabeth Sladen's Sarah Jane Smith and/or Louise Jameson's Leela? The possibilities are nothing short of, well, timeless!
