GOODBYE, NICHOLAS BRENDON

Most know and love you as the waggish Xander Harris from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as the idiosyncratic Kevin Lynch on Criminal Minds, but your resume extended beyond even these renowned efforts.

For example, you were nothing short of spot-on in the uproarious Psycho Beach Party and made commensurate impressions in Blood on the Highway, Demon Island, Fire Serpent, Unholy, Attack of the Morningside Monster, Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest, Coherence, My Neighbor's Secret, Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, Golden Christmas and several more where you couldn't help but shine.

You had some problems along the way, Mr. Brendon, but we all face such matters at one time or another. When it came to your fanbase, however, you were more than stellar, with artistic provisions that will continue to be reviewed and respected. In other words, you were and will remain one of the few entrenched, legendary figures in popular culture: an irrefutable designation that will stand the test of time.
