Mr. Lobo presents a special, Cinema Insomnia, live-stream event on Twitch, October 30, starting at 10pm and ending at midnight (the advent of Halloween). As a special treat, the presentation will feature Bill Reeds' folk-horror documentary, Mother Leeds' 13th Child.
The 1974, New Jersey Public Broadcasting production weaves Lenape/Pine Barrens lore, with an emphasis on the Leeds legend, as narrated by lead-in, Jack Wiseman, and hosted by Phil Sheridan who serves eyewitness testimony and conjecture on the demon. There's even a fond lookback on the Devil's infamous, kangaroo hoax and melodious tunes by George Taweel to flavor the account.
Along with the feature segment, Mr. Lobo will spread mischievous mirth for Insomniacs of all ages--and you are there, as the jubilation rolls with prize drawings and a Mr. Lobo draw-along. In addition, NJ cuisine and general culture will be shared and celebrated, granting a substantial sum of Garden State authenticity to the proceedings.
