GOODBYE, BILLIE HAYES...

As Witchiepoo, you brightened my childhood to the hilt in Sid and Marty Krofft's H.R. Pufnstuf (in both the series and theatrical version), a role you rekindled on the Banana Splits Adventure Hour and the Paul Lynde Halloween Special (right alongide the witchy Margaret Hamilton).

You were also great as Weenie the Genie on Krofft's Lidsville and as Li'l Abner's Mammy Yokum, as well as in your notable, guest-starring roles for Bewitched and the Monkees

However, you were most prolific in the voice department, lending your distinct emoting to such productions as the Batman; Teen TitansTeen Titans Go!Duckman; Darkwing Duck; W.I.T.C.H.; the Transformers; Transformers: Rescue Bots; Rugrats; Tale Spin; BonkersJohnny Bravo; the Brothers Flub; Bubble Guppies; the Further Adventures of Super Ted; the Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonaldthe Nightmare Before Christmas; Shrek Forever After; and Disney's the Black Cauldron

On a behind-the-scenes note, you founded Pet Hope, one of the best charities imaginable, which has helped hundreds of abandoned pets find homes since 1984.

You were a wonderful person, performer and an icon for the ages. God bless you, Ms. Hayes. Your contributions will live on and touch anyone who has the pleasure to engage them.
