FAREWELL, SYLVIA MILES...

Most know you best (and understandably so) from "Midnight Cowboy", "Evil Under the Sun" and "Farewell, My Lovely".

However, you were an accomplished actress of the highest order, steaming up the Warhol/Morrissey-churned "Heat" and escalating the razor-sharp "Wall Street" set.

To horror fans, you made an indelible impression with your performances in Michael Winner's unsettling "The Sentinel" and Tobe Hooper's atmospheric "The Funhouse".  (Gosh, who could ever forget the great, fortune-telling Madame Zelda!  Poor ol' Gunther certainly won't.)

Your contributions touched many, generating laughs, love and suspense wherever and whenever you appeared. Your wide range of talent will inspire anyone wise enough to cross your cinematic path.
