JIM MAIN'S PULP FAN: A DOC SAVAGE SALUTE!!!

Jim Main Enterprises has succeeded again, with a stunning, new issue of PULP FAN. This latest offering salutes one of the genre's greatest: Doc Savage, Man of Bronze!!!

Brought to life by Lester Dent, John L. Nanovic and Henry W. Ralston in 1933, good ol' Doc Savage has performed a sterling and consistent job enthralling readers of all ages. He even graced a 1975 movie with Ron "Tarzan" Eli in the lead, produced by the great George Pal; and there's a new film on the horizon to star Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson.

Pulp Fan #2 is jammed with related gems, including Link Hullar's super-informative interview with acclaimed Doc author/scholar, Will Murray; plus Mike Maloney's comprehensive overview of Philip Jose Farmer's Doc novels. There's also a terrific Doc short story by Hullar ("What Walks in the Night?") and a heartfelt issue-intro by editor-in-chief Main.

To supplement the literary content, Pulp Fan #2 spotlights awe-inspiring artwork by Lance Boucher; Walter Baumhofer; Jamie Chase; Tom Doyle; Kevin Duncan; Tim Faurote; Marc Haines; John Lambert; and this issue's cover artist, Don Marquez.

I salute Jim Main for saluting Doc Savage with this powerhouse of an issue. Can't wait to see what the next Pulp Fan holds!!!

You can purchase this issue by sending a $9 check or money order to Jim Main at PO Box 93; New Milford, CT 06776. You'll be mighty pleased to add this Doc Savage tribute to your pulp-hero collection.
