My Diamond Select/Marvel Gallery spree continues with a deluxe, 11.5", PVC representation of the Incredible, Immortal Hulk, based on Joe Bennett/Al Ewing's raging incarnation.
Designed by the prolific Caesar and sculpted by the adroit Alterton, this powerful piece depicts the Hulk running across an explosive, rocky base, reminiscent of the popular, 1966 Aurora kit.
The massive musculature, ferocious countenance and rippling, green hues are the epitome of the gamma-radiated mutant. Gazing upon the sculpture, it's easy to imagine him coming to life, charging forth and demolishing all that stands in his way. And even if kept in his impressive packaging, the tremendous goliath appears set to smash straight through.
I've loved the Hulk ever since I was a little lad. This immortal tribute only adds to my adoration, in an accomplishment that, among Hulk collectibles, reigns unparalleled.
