Director/actress Haley "HeavyMetal" Hugs has a grand, fan (Dallas based) project percolating: an ambitious crossover of Friday the 13th and Blade Runner called Neon Fear.
The premise: In 2049, androids, modeled after the relentless, supernatural slayer, Jason Voorhees, suppress a beleaguered populace. To stop the seemingly unstoppable, a desperate group embarks on a time-tripping mission, returning to 1984 to seize the infamous killing machine and then dispatch him to eradicate the coercing replicants.
Friday the 13th fans were dealt an android in Jason X, but Neon Fear's intended extrapolation will catapult the concept to a high-tech, Philip K. Dick landscape, populated with evident, Terminator allusions.
The android designs look intimidating, with perhaps (if my eyes don't deceive me) some Cenobite inspiration among them. There's no question that Jason (our ersatz Deadite Rick Deckard) has a mountain of murderous work on his hands, but that's only if this idea moves beyond the preproduction stage.

The Indiegogo page lists several, affordable options (with tempting packages) regarding the movie's financing, led by Haley's appealing intro.
Please contribute to this exciting, crossover endeavor. I certainly have!
