FILMFAX #152: A NEW FIVE OUNCE TON OF INTELLIGENT FUN!!!

Filmfax #152 creeps forth for the Halloween '18 season, with a fantastic Drew Friedman cover, commemorating John Zacherle (aka Roland). To accompany the spooky cover, #152 contains an absorbing article by Jan Alan Henderson, essaying the Cool Ghoul's horror-hosting impact on pop culture.

To further Friedman's contribution, the acclaimed illustrator gives us a trip down memory lane, explaining how he came to draw all those legendary, horror actors. This is matched by Christopher M. O'Brien's insightful interview with the late, comic-book legend, Fred Kida, documenting the master's contributions to horror, science fiction and action/adventure through the glorious Golden and Bronze Ages.

Then there's Anthony Petkovich's revealing interview with Janet Leigh's "Psycho" body double, Marli Renfro, which uncovers her super sexy, cinematic and pin-up legacy.

Petkovich also dishes us a devilish interview with the late, great Grandfather of Gore, Herschell Gordon Lewis, where the writer/director/entrepreneur highlights his early life and notorious films.

To bridge these swell submissions, there's more death-ray coverage (courtesy of editor/publisher Mike Stein); a futuristic-car pictorial; movie/book reviews; and all those awe-inspiring, behind-the-scenes photos that readers have come to expect from their forever faithful periodical.

Pick up your copy of #152 today at your favorite book store, kiosk or online source.
