It's time for another Hallmark-ornament post. As in July, I'm featuring one from Star Trek and one from Doctor Who.
Upfront, we have a Next Generation homage from the time-tripping episode, "Relics," representing Patrick Stewart's Captain Jean-Luc Picard and James Doohan's Captain Montgomery Scott, set for a sip of Scotch.
The ornament, which measures approximately 7.2" x 5" x 7.2", is battery/button-operated, emitting dialogue from the actual episode (with the beloved characters reminiscing on starships of old). Alas, no designer is attributed to this fine, figural creation, but it's sure spot-on.
As a follow-up to this year's Matt Smith Time Lord, we get a suggestive cleric of the Kovarian Silence, decked in spiffy, black suit and tie.
The Munch-esque entity is impressive from either front or back, measuring about 3.2" x 4.4" x 3.1". Again, no credit is given to a designer, but without question, a job well done!
