You made your marvelous mark as Cathy Gale on "The Avengers', which led to your portrayal of the most famous Bond girl of 'em all, Pussy Galore in "Goldfinger".

To boot, you were nothing short of a goddess, portraying the heavenly Hera, in "Jason and the Argonauts" and just as sublime in "Shalako" (again with Sean "007" Connery), "Tale of the Mummy"; "Fright"; "Cockneys vs Zombies"; "To the Devil A Daughter"; "The Cat and the Canary '78"; "Daughter of Darkness '48"; "Orpheus and the Underworld"; "Come Die My Love"; "The Virginian and the Gypsy"; "Conspirator"; "A Matter of WHO"; "Something Big"; "Square Peg"; "Suspended Alibi"; "Serena"; "To Walk with Lions"; "The Delavine Affair"; "The Secret of My Success"; "Breakaway"; "A Twist of Sand"; "The Glass Cage"; "Columbo: Dagger of the Mind"; and the Titanic epic "A Night to Remember". You were also a stand-out as Laura West on the sitcom, "The Upper Hand". 

It was beauty and worldliness that you projected, with a sensational sex appeal that would make anyone's head spin. You meant a lot to me, Ms. Blackman and to the world so much more. May you lead Ms. Galore's Flying Circus across the ethereal skies, shading us with your timeless effervescence.

You were super sexy and super cool, wearing the envious emblem of starring in two Connery Bonds: "From Russia with Love" (as Kerim Bey's gal) and "Goldfinger" (as Bonita).

Those weren't your only cinematic jaunts. There was "The Magic Sword '50"; "Runaway" (aka "Runaway Killer"); "The Fur Collar"; "Goodbye, Franziska": "The Man Without a Body"; the comical "Don't Panic, Chaps!" and those dusky "Edgar Wallace Mysteries" installments, "Solo for Sparrow" and "Downfall". 

On television, you shared your charms as generously with "Danger Man"; "The Saint"; "Richard the Lionheart"; and the pragmatic "Dixon of Dock Green".

You even played the role of publisher (with help from your sister, Jelena) and author, having penned "The Victim and the Fools"; "Recollections"; and a perky kiddie tale, "The Puppet Planet".

Your magnetic talents delighted many, and there's no doubt the heavens will brighten a hundredfold now that your ebullient spirit shines among them.
