SOLARIS & NEUROMANCERS: DARK FICTION TO ILLUMINATE THE MIND

Hello, dear readers! Here's a reminder that two, new volumes of Raffaele Pezzella's Eighth Tower, Dark Fiction curations are in circulation, available in paperback and hardback. Each has a splendid story by yours truly, though all the featured tales are top-notch.

The Neuromancers: Stories Inspired by William Gibson's Universe hurls readers into cyberpunk heaven, or make that hell, with a dystopic spree unlike any other. My story, "With Eyes Unconstrained," grazes not only Gibson's works, but such speculative offerings as George Orwell's 1984, Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 and Rod Serling's "The Obsolete Man."

EIGHTH TOWER'S STORIES AND REFLECTIONS INSPIRED BY ANDREI TARKOWSKY'S MOVIE

The latest, Eighth Tower Publications/Raffaele Pezzella, Dark Fiction curation is a 345-page triumph based on Stanislaw Lem's novel, Solaris, and Andrei Tarkowsky's 1972, film adaptation of such. 

On this basis, Stories and Reflections Inspired by Andrei Tarkowsky's movie contains explorations dealt by Eighth Tower's faithful queue: Glynn Owen Barrass, Andrew Coulthard, Chris J. Carr, Chris McAuley, J. Edwin Buja, Michael. F. Housel, Sarah Walker and Simon Bleaken, with essays by Lorenzo Lasanga and Stafano Santoli (emboldened by a stylish layout by Matteo Mariano).

Like the novel and movie, the anthology probes surreal and cerebral ventures, with each author adding his/her spin on the mind-expanding concept of a world that holds the amazing ability to tap one's innermost dreams. Indeed, the curation's results will leave one with a celestial awakening as bold as its founding sources.
