An amicable reminder: The second edition of Eighth Tower Records and Books' Codex of Pleasure and Pain: Stories Inspired by Clive Barker's Hellraiser is available for immediate purchase. While Codex reigns supreme, Eighth Tower's David Lynch/Twin Peaks, inspired-by tribute (the official title not yet determined) is in the development, but it's closer to realization than not. Hello, Seekers of the Fierce & Forbidden: The CEO/curator of Eighth Tower Publications, Raffaele Pezzella, has reissued his Dark Fiction edition, Codex of Pleasure and Pain: Stories Inspired by Clive Barker's Hellraiser.

The Faustian contents were composed by Eighth Tower's devoted regulars, Chris McCauley (also the curation's editor), Edwin J. Buja, Michael F. Housel, Nora Peevy, Paolo L. Bandera, RDJ Armstrong, Scott J. Couturier and Simon Bleaken.

At this point, the second edition is available only as an Amazon paperback exclusive and is printed in a way that's far sturdier and more luxuriant than what came before. 

Even if one purchased the limited-release, first edition, Codex's refurbished submission is a must-have for all "hellbound" completists.👺

CODEX OF PLEASURE AND PAIN: TALES & MUSIC INSPIRED BY CLIVE BAKER'S HELLRAISER

Raffaele Pezzella's Eighth Tower Publications is about to unleash another Dark Fiction, literary curation, along with an audio counterpart. One is called Codex of Pleasure and Pain: Stories Inspired by Clive Barker's Hellraiser and the other, Codex of Pleasure and Pain: A Sonic Tribute to Clive Barker's Hellraiser. 

The literary volume's in-the-style-of fables are delivered by Eighth Tower's trusty, in-house crew: Chris McCauley (also the anthology's editor), Edwin J. Buja, Michael F. Housel, Nora Peevy, Paolo L. Bandera, RDJ Armstrong, Scott J. Couturier and Simon Bleaken.

Each tale taps an element of Barker's Cenobite eroticism, pushing the boundaries of sanity, while grazing sensuality. There's no question that Barker fans will be tantalized by the inspired results.
