RIP RICHARD ADAMS...

Alas, learned of your passing a tad late; better now than never to pay respect...

You gave us one of the best fantasy novels of the '70s, or any decade for that matter, proving a fable of diligent rabbits could be as engrossing as those of fighting orcs, jungle lords or sanitized sorcery. If thrown into the limelight today, "Watership Down" would be dismissed as too intense for those fragile millennials, but for those of us who appreciate hard-hitting, allegorical tales, your yarn will always resonate. Bless you, Mr. Adams, for your courageous and groundbreaking undertaking.
