Harley Quinn: Sexy Insanity for the DCU

The DC Universe offers its latest, animated series on an unspecified, October date, whereupon the Joker's best gal gets the lead: the one, the only, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn.

Quinn has been rising the sexy-villainess ranks since the '90s when she was introduced on the hit, WB Batman cartoon series. In more recent times, Margot Robbie has lifted her to even higher, appealing heights per a pop-cultural shakin' role in "Suicide Squad".

From the sneak-peek trailer, Quinn's latest animated venture will be adult-oriented: not too salacious, it's safe to say, but not shy in using violence and curse words to spice up the action. Quinn's pal, Poison Ivy will visit to enhance the raucous itch.

The market for comic-book characters is now an older crowd. Most kids hide under the covers when this stuff comes around. Who needs Snowflake-ville to infiltrate every ounce of our entertainment. I'm glad "Harley Quinn" is snubbing them.

This time around, our dangerous babe will be voiced by Kaley Cuoco, good ol' Penny of "The Big Bang Theory". Hot friggin damn!!!

I'm gettin' good vibes from this one and hope it grabs more viewers (and therefore, subscribers) for DC's history-making hub.

  2. Though well overdue, the series has finally commenced. It's vulgar and gruesome: just what I expected. I do think this is going to be a real wise-ass piece of escapism: definitely not for the fairy-princess/Potterhead crowd. Can't wait to absorb more.
