DC & WB have already plunged into the television-meets-big-screen sector with its CW crossovers. The success of such should stand as inspiration for Marvel, which in its own right has initiated its mark on alternate-reality, TV-meets-movie conceptualization: case in point, WandaVision.
Even so, I, for one, would have loved if Nicholas Hammond, the live-action, television-show Peter Parker, had made a cameo in No Way Home, but it's not too late for him to make his presence known in the continuation of big-budget schemes. Multiverse sequels are on the horizon, with Morbius and Stephen Strange submissions knockin' hard, which in turn should birth even more.
Hammond did an excellent job as Spidey for his short-lived series, which should have gone on for years and even crossed over (as was originally planned) into Hulkian turf and later down the line, maybe over the Rainbow Bridge, with Eric Allan Kramer's God of Thunder and on the legal stretch, with Rex Smith's insightful Man Without Fear.
With this said (and with such possibilities yet itchin' for parallel experimentation), I see no reason why Lou Ferrigno's Hulk can't make a rippling crash through some dimensional portal, and while we're at it, why not have Reb Brown stand face to face with an alternate Chris Evans Cap? Shoot, computer-generate Dick Purcell in there, too, for some patriotic, movie-serial flavor. Oh, and how 'bout Peter Hooten's Sorcerer Supreme, offering a wink via a mirror's reflection, if only in mystical, did-ya-catch-that jest?
In my firm opinion, to make the Marvel mix-and-match as comprehensive as it can be, these appearances should manifest, so I do hope that some smart exec (at Disney, Sony, Paramount, Universal and/or otherwise) will take note of my notion. If my suggestions are give-or-take fulfilled, I won't be the only one to exclaim unbridled, Multiverse cheer!
