Some folks will remember you best as a linebacker for the Steelers and the Rams or your comedic turns in the Smokey and the Bandit series, though others will praise your portrayal of Tarzan in three of the ape man's finest, film entries: Tarzan and the Valley of Gold, Tarzan and the Great River and Tarzan and the Jungle Boy.
You also projected a powerful presence in The Longest Yard '74; the Green Berets; Rio Lobo; Skyjacked; No Way Back; Number One; Spencer's Mountain; Curfew Breakers; More Dead Than Alive; Mean Johnny Barrows; Adios Amigos; Outrageous Fortune; O.U.T; and the chilling Soylent Green. Your appearances on M*A*S*H; Fantasy Island; the Wonderful World of Disney; General Hospital; and the Six Million Dollar Man were also standouts.
You were a hero on many levels, Mr. Henry, and a one whose legacy will unquestionably prevail.
