FAREWELL, MARY LOUISE WELLER

You were beautiful and multifaceted, covering roles on the big and small screens, in a plethora of parts.

Mandy Pepperidge in John Landis' popular lampoon, Animal House, is your best known, feature-length role, but you also starred in Q: The Winged Serpent, The Evil, Blood Tide (aka Demon Island), Forced Vengeance, Serpico, Once Upon a Spy, Hunters of the Reef, Hail!, Calling Dr. Storm M.D. and The Bell Jar.

On the TV scene, you were comparably prolific, with guest spots on CHiPS, Starsky & Hutch, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, Fantasy Island, Supertrain, Kojak, Baretta, Quincy M.E., B.J. and the Bear, Vega$, Detective School and Semi-Tough.

Few realize that you were a writer and penned the play, Four Alone. You also trained with the U.S. Equestrian Team and were a top-ranked, New York model.

Your status as a Renaissance woman can't be denied, and the fruits of your labors support that claim. Your passing resonates, Ms. Weller, for it's one that brings to mind the many joys you've given us and the delightful memories that will continue to warm our hearts.💗
