Here I go again, tooting my self-serving horn, but heck, if you're stuck on choosing gifts for friends and family this year, then I suggest two New Pulp anthologies.
One is an end-of-the-year selection from Airship 27 Productions: The Phantom Detective, Vol 2. It includes stories by Fred Adams Jr, Gene Moyers, Carson Demmans and (ahem) yours truly, with artwork by Kevin Paul Broden and Adam Shaw. My story is called "The Master Youths of Janus," and for those who fancy Village of the Damned, this one should more than hit the spot.
The second is also from Airship 27, though released earlier this year: The Purple Scar, Vol 4. It includes stories by Fred Adams Jr., Gene Moyers, Felix Cruz and again, yours truly, with artwork by Rob Davis and Adam Shaw. My contribution is entitled "Golem Clay" and adheres to Hebrew mythology, though with a creepy twist.
