Just learned of Sir Christopher Lee's passing. I'm rather numb to say the least.
I (and his massive fan base) will certainly savor his many characterizations. His legend will live on in his movies, his performances to be enjoyed for generations to come.
Though he's connected to the fantasy genre in the way Sir Lee is, I also wished to acknowledged the passing of Ron Moody: an outstanding character actor and classy gent, as well. May these two great thespians now reside in a higher, happier place. God bless them.
ReplyDeleteAlso learned that the big man with the big personality, Dusty Rhodes, passed away today. He certainly could get the crowds going on the pro-wrestling scene. They do say that legends tend to go in threes, and today's announcements certainly support that theory.
